Your space, your time, your escape

Edwardian Terrace, London

Open / Outside / Entertaining

This house only had 2 previous owners and wasn’t touched since the day it was built in 1908.  Although everything was original it was too dangerous to move into.  Everything was needed – new roof, new walls, new plumbing, rewiring, replastering and rebuilt, basement dig to maximise space.

It was important to bring it back to its original glory and had all the Interior architectural detailing remade to look original whilst keeping as many of the original features where possible.

New kitchens, bathrooms, bespoke joinery was installed into the entire house to maximise space which is invaluable in a family home.

Relax and Entertain

Edwardian Terrace, London

“How do I want to feel when I walk in the front door?” Is a common question we ask all our clients.  In this home it was important that it felt welcoming while reflecting the people who live in it. Mixing the clients ethnic backgrounds – Australian and Scottish, it was important to create a home that felt traditional and modern.

The living areas were designed as a nod to his heritage with roaring fireplaces and original features, whilst the open light filled spaces with modern kitchen leading to the garden reflected the Australian outdoor living.

The entire basement was turned into a play zone that extends from the kitchen and out into the garden.  Traditional bespoke bi fold doors, open directly into the garden, making the kitchen area look like one big space.  The landscaping was designed so it could be used both day and night, allowing the family to entertain.

Bespoke joinery throughout the entire house to house all the clutter.  All the bedrooms were designed with their personalities in mind.  A place to relax and entertain.
